You’ve googled your heart out looking for a miracle face cream that can finally give your skin the perfect glow. You’ve tried so many serums and under-eye creams and feel a bit like giving up. However, maybe you need to skip the cosmetics section and start thinking more about nutrition. After-all, the key to beautiful skin starts from the inside with the right hydration and nutrition.

This kiwi-blueberry recipe is a perfect low-cal smoothie packed with all the nutrients your body needs that will help your skin glow. Blueberries contain even more antioxidants than green tea, and help to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. Kiwis offer up to 3 times more Vitamin C than oranges, which helps to boost your immune system and fight off infections. To give this drink a hint of sweetness, we’re adding some some pineapple as well. Pineapple is rich in Vitamin C and is a good natural aid for acne and detoxification.

    Why add Liposomal Vitamin C?

Taking Lipsomal Vitamin C in this advanced bioavailable formula means that the vitamin will be delivered directly to the cells that need them most without being damaged in the digestive system. Absorbency levels can be up to 6x that of regular Vitamin C, tablets, powder, or pills that are largely unabsorbed and excreted in the urine. If you suffer from any chronic skin conditions or have regular outbreaks, repairing your skin needs to start at the cellular level. An advanced liposomal encapsulated delivery system can also help to improve the skin’s elasticity and firmness by stimulating collagen production in the body.

For those of us focused on skin aging, we need to understand that this is a complex process involving a combination of genetics, hormones, and environmental factors that result in the production of free radicals. In this sense, Vitamin Cworks as a potent antioxidant against any pollutants that the skin is exposed to.

Another benefit that can be attributed to Vitamin C is its support for collagen synthesis in the body, which when taken with acollagen supplement cansignificantly elevate collagen levels.Collagen is the protein found in all animal tissue, that builds up joints, bones, hair, skin, nails, veins, arteries and more.

With that bundle of health benefits, it’s time to make our smoothie!

    Ingredients

½ cup fresh or frozen blueberries
    1 fresh kiwi
    ¼ cup pineapple
    1 cup unsweetened almond milk
    1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tsp of Premium Liposomal Vitamin C

    Preparation

    1. Peel the kiwi, slice the pineapple, wash the blueberries.

    2. Add all the fruit to a blender together with the almond milk and chia seeds and blend until smooth. If you want the texture to be more liquid rather than thick, add some more almond milk (or water).

    3. When finished blending, mix in a spoonful of Liposomal Vitamin C.

    Note

DO NOT put Liposomal Vitamin C in a mixer or blender. Rigorous blending can damage the liposomes and make the vitamin less effective.
