    Amandean Chocolate Avocado

    The Benefit Of Added Collagen

Collagen is an all-natural superfood that accounts for more than 80% of all connective tissues in the body and 75% of our skin. It's the most abundant protein in the body. It is the building material to renew cells in all areas of the body including: hair, skin, nails, eyes, teeth, cartilage, bones, tendons, internal organs, arteries, blood vessels, and the immune system. In our Paleo Chocolate Avocado Freezer-Fudge we use Amandean's Non-GMO Premium Grass-Fed Collagen Peptidesto give this treat an added health benefit.

    The Recipe

    Ingredients (18 Servings)

    1 ripe avocado, mashed
1/3 cup natural nut or seed butter (We love unsweetened Almond or Cachew Butter)
    1/4 cup pure maple syrup
1/2 cup cacao powder (or unsweetened cocoa)
    3 scoops Amandean's Premium Grass-Fed Collagen Peptides
Additional flavor options ( to taste): mint, vanilla, almond, or coconut.

    Directions

    1. Use a loaf pan and line it with parchment paper allowing any extra to hang over the sides.
    2. In a small blender or food processor, mix together mashed avocado, nut/seed butter, maple syrup, and flavor extract until well mixed and smooth. Put the mix into a medium bowl and add cacao powder and collagen peptides. Using a spatula or large spoon, stir the mixture until smooth. Batter should have a thick and creamy texture.
    3. Place the batter into the loaf pan, spreading evenly into corners.
    4. Place the pan in the freezer for at least one hour to set, or overnight. Remove the parchment paper from the pan and set on a cutting board. Using a sharp knife, cut the fudge into 18 squares. Store in airtight container in the freezer. The fudge can be enjoyed straight out of the freezer and will begin to melt if left at room temperature.
    5. Enjoy!
