Matcha Latte with Superfood Boost

Packed with antioxidants and good fats this delicious winter drink is a great way to enhance the glow of skin, boost metabolism, and jumpstart the digestive system. Instead of hitting up your nearest Starbucks or going for the store-bought iced version ( loaded with sugar), Amandean has a great recipe you can feel good about consuming.

Ingredients

¼ cup water
2 tablespoons collagen peptides
1 teaspoon matcha tea powder
¼ teaspoon spirulina powder
¾ cup whole milk
1 teaspoon honey, optional

Directions

Heat water over medium heat in a sauce pan. Whisk the collagen peptides, matcha tea and spirulina into the water. Whisk until the water is hot, and the powders are completely dissolved.

Add milk and honey,( if you're using these) into the hot water and continue to warm over medium heat until hot. Pour into a mug, and enjoy!

Serving size: 1 cup
