Boswellia serrata is a tree native to India that produces special compounds that have been found to have strong anti-inflammatory effects. Extracts are derived from the boswellia tree (also known as Indian olibanum, Indian frankincense, dhup and salai or salai guggul) and used in Ayruvedic practices for hundreds of years to manage chronic inflammation and joint pain. The gum resin is harvested from the Boswellia tree and consists of essential oils, gum, and terpenoids. The terpenoid portion contains the Boswellia acids that have been shown to be the active constituents in Boswellia. Our 500mg capsules are standardized to contain 65% boswellic acids, which may support healthy aging.*
Boswellia may help support a healthy inflammatory response in the body, such as leukotrienes 2. As opposed to curcumin (turmeric), long-term use of Boswellia does not lead to irritation or ulceration of the stomach. The Boswellia tree creates a precious resin long used in perfumes and natural medicines. Oil produced from this resin is called frankincense and is often used as an oil or as an incense. Boswellia Serrata extract comes from the gum resin of the Boswellia tree and is certainly one of the most effective pain inhibitors of 5-LOX inflammation.
Boswellia Serrata extract can act as a very effective pain reliever comparable to NSAID pain medicine. I cannot express enough how wonderful this product is, although I don’t have scientific data to back up my experience with Boswellia, I have Crohn’s disease and have been suffering for 7 years, I refused biological therapy which was pushed upon me from doctors, I started taking this product I am now in remission and will never stop

I've taken this well for over a year, I ran out during a move, and thought I would be able to tell a difference from not taking it. No such luck. I was very disappointed. On the other hand, when I was unable to take the bovine collagen I could definitely tell a difference. My entire body was so painful that I couldn't get out of bed. Fearing the worst, I called my doctor.. at the same time start taking the collagen again. I canceled my appointment! All the pain had absolutely disappeared! I'm still taking the Boswellia, but not sure it does anything for me. But I will never ever stop the collagen, and have recommend it to everyone I know.

I have severe arthritis and I cannot take arthritis medication and I'm allergic to all nsaids. So, I have been looking for something to relieve my pain and inflammation. Just two days after taking Amandean Boswellia Extract my inflammation and swelling were decreased alot. My excruciating joint pain was very manageable. I definitely recommend this product!!!

I started taking Boswellia in December 2021 and started physical therapy for my knee joint pain a few weeks later. By February I felt much better and rarely experiencing knee pain since May 2022. I believe Boswellia with physical therapy help. I will continue taking Boswellia as long as I can afford it.

I have struggled with rheumatoid arthritis for nearly two decades. The pharmaceuticals offered by western medicine have proven to be as debilitating as the disease. The side effects decreased my immunity and I was hospitalized with pneumonia and cellulitis. The specialists were only able to get it under control by taking me off my RA medications. After 7 months my RA came back with severe inflammation, weakness in my joints and incredible pain. The most recent medication side effects were worse than the disease. I had skin issues of wart like growths, peeling skin and boils on my face. I bought wigs to compensate for my hair loss and I was exhausted all the time. I stopped that medication after 5 months. I managed the pain and swelling of RA with ibuprofen, acetaminophen and naproxen, but was fearful of their side effects. I then read about Boswellia on a reputable arthritis website and was fortunate enough to order this brand. It was delivered promptly and I immediately started taking it. I was pain free after about an hour. Over the last month the pain is almost gone and the swelling due to inflammation has gone down considerably. Best of all NO SIDE EFFECTS! My skin no longer peels, the boils have gone away and my hair seems to be filling in. I no longer am fearful of the side effects of the over the counter pain relievers. Try it. I hope it works as well for you as it has for me.
My neurologist suggested trying boswellia for the pain associated with my chronic migraine. There was nothing wrong with this product itself, it just did absolutely nothing for me, my migraine, or any of my other pain. That’s why I gave it a neutral review. The price was good and there was nothing wrong with this product, but boswellia did nothing for me personally.
I tried another Boswellia brand before this one. I thought perhaps that Boswellia did nothing for me. Then, I tried this one. This was different. I take it everyday, and feel good about it.
ONG!!! This stuff is totally amazing! I did a lot of research on benefits of Franklin because I sell/use essential oils and just got some frankincense resin and a burner…. So I read other reviews on this which comes from the same source and is basically frankincense in an “edible” form… I’ve had severe issues with pain - surgeries in an ankle, knee and wrist, am in my 60’s and have arthritis and back problems… I took JUST 1ONCE and the next day noticed AMAZING results! ALMOST pain free…. Better than the prescription medicine I’ve been prescribed and better than the hydrolaunic acid injections I pay over $200 per year copay for my knees!!! I HIGHLY recommend this great product!!!
