Cleansing Lavender Chamomile Mint Tea with Honey and Liposomal Vitamin C

After holiday weekends it often takes a few days to get back into our healthy routines and diets and recover from the over-indulgence of large family meals, too many sweets, and an increased caloric intake. Many of us need a bit of a kick-in-the-butt to get going again and incorporating herbal teas such as chamomile can ease digestive cramps, act as an all-natural cleanser, and even improve the quality of our sleep disrupted during periods of increased alchohol intake and sugary foods.

(Ingredients will yield up to 88 cups)

1/2 cup dried lavender flowers
1/2 cup dried chamomile
1/2 cup dried peppermint leaves
1/2 cup dried nettle leaves
1 generous pinch ground cayenne pepper

For Each Pitcher (optional)

Juice of 2 whole lemons
1/4 cup honey dissolved in 1/2 cup warm water
1 Bottle of Amandean's Premium Liposomal Vitamin C ( 3 Tsp per pitcher)


For the tea:

Combine dried lavender flowers, dried chamomile, dried peppermint leaves, dried nettle leaves and ground cayenne pepper in a large bowl. Store in an airtight container or ziplock bag at room temperature.

To Make A Pitcher

In a large kettle, boil 8 cups of water and remove from heat.
Add 3 rounded tablespoons of tea to a tea ball and submerge in kettle
Add 3 teaspoons of Amandean's Liposomal Vitamin C
Allow to steep for at least 5 minutes.
Stir into lemon juice and honey mixture
Allow to cool, transfer to pitcher and refrigerate
Serve with or without ice.
